DRN Task Force Agri & Food Romania

What can the team of experts on the Romanian agri and food sector do for you?

These experts – as listed below – can advise and assist you. However, because they are part of the non profit organization Dutch Romanian Network they provide their services free of charge and have an advisory role and do not perform activities such as market research, organizing trade missions and/or matchmaking, although for a fee these services can be provided. Their approach is based on the so-called Triple Helix model, in which they seek collaboration between business, government and education. Operating individually in international markets have caused a number of companies and/or institutions to realize to their detriment that it leads to high costs, lost time and competitiveness.
The agri-food sector has many subsectors and because chain development and cooperation in Romania is still in its infancy, joint action on the Dutch side is desirable to prevent us from becoming part of the problem. Moreover, collaboration creates synergy and, last but not least, the whole is more than the sum of its parts.

The inevitable question:
After all, it was Einstein who said, ” If you do what you always did, you will get what you always got. Well right, because that’s what it’s like for companies that remain “stagnant. So it is better to ask yourself the question: what will it actually cost me if I do nothing? Let’s be clear: primary consulting(and we go a long way in that) is completely free of charge, but if we need to start performing work, you can do so if you become a member of the Dutch Romanian Network who, by the way, also organize regular network meetings. The cost of that membership largely flows back to you because it allows the Task Force to expand its services.
